You may have seen these white boxes around town when hitting some of your favorite Roseville, Rocklin and Auburn haunts over the holidays. Our friends at Pairings, StayFit, GoGreen Financial, Umpqua Bank, API Marketing and other local businesses were kind enough to house them over the month of December to collect children's books on our behalf.
After dashing around town to pick them up (and getting in some strength training at the same time – they were heavy!) we are pleased to report that we collected over 450 books in just over 30 days for the good folks at Lighthouse Family Resource Center.
We now have the task of sorting through them and delivering them to Lighthouse and KidsFirst where they will soon be in the hands of many cute, pint-sized readers.
Thanks to our many friends and clients who visited their local bookstore or purged their kids' bookshelves to make a donation!
